Ssoss Cast Surface Finishing: Comprehensive Solutions

Ssoss Cast provides in-house surface finishing options including powder coating and spray painting, each offering distinct advantages for different project requirements. Powder coating applies electrostatically-charged dry powder that cures under heat, delivering exceptional durability, environmental benefits, and uniform coverage in a single application—ideal for metal surfaces exposed to weather conditions. Spray painting applies liquid paint as a fine mist, offering greater versatility across materials with unlimited color options and compatibility with heat-sensitive surfaces, perfect for customized cosmetic finishes. The optimal choice depends on customer-specific requirements including production volume, substrate materials, environmental considerations, and durability expectations.

Ssoss Cast uses Walther Trowal TT400 Centrifugal Disc finishing unit to offer a wide range of processing types, helping customers achieve the perfect result. From evenly blasting your workpieces, clean components or simply removing burrs/flashes on casting parts made from a variety of materials, we can utilise and configurate our machine with different medias for the ideal process worthy of your end product.

Media tumbling stones are specialized abrasives used in vibratory bowls to polish, deburr and refine metal parts. Rapid oscillations move stones in flowing patterns, creating consistent contact for uniform surface treatment. Vibration amplitude and frequency control process aggressiveness.

Customer Care and Support Center

Our Customer Care and Support Center is dedicated to providing expert assistance, timely responses, and reliable solutions for all customer inquiries.

Our manufacturing facility features a fully automated Walther Trowal TT400 system for high-volume, intensive surface finishes that demand both quality and cost-effectiveness. Additionally equipped with chromating, spray painting, and powder coating capabilities, Ssoss Cast delivers high-quality product finishes that consistently exceed and conform to contract and regulatory requirements. Ssoss powder coating typically provides better long-term value for high-volume production with fewer VOC emissions and recyclable materials while spray painting offers greater accessibility for smaller volume operations.

Spray painting & Powder coating

With our semi automated spray painting & powder coating line, Ssoss Cast is able to merge both skilled handwork coupled with advance technology. This allows us to work on both low or high volume projects without sacrificing the quality or cost competitiveness every project should have. Be it spray painted or powder coating, strigent quality checks such as thickness measurement, destructive adhesive test, colour comparison or impact test will be implemented on each production batch.

Chromating

Chromating is a surface treatment for zinc castings that creates a protective layer through chemical conversion. Zinc parts are immersed in acidic hexavalent chromium solution, which etches the surface and forms an integral chromium-zinc compound coating. This provides enhanced corrosion resistance, improved paint adhesion, and aesthetic appeal.
